I am, Rev. Dr. Samuel Richardson III, DCC, and as a servant of the Most High God, I have made it my business to share all that the Lord has allowed me to see and experience. I believe that through sharing my experiences, many others will also recognize the Sovereign Power of El-Shaddai, God Almighty. I understand, the book of Mark, where we are told to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”, and in the book of Romans, where the question is asked, “…how shall they hear without a preacher?” But, I am convinced that God did not just mean for man to preach to His people, but that His people are taught according to His Word.
God, has shown me that the foundation of my ministry is found in the book of Matthew, the 28 Chapter, verses 19 and 20: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:….” For what Jesus taught His disciples were the very principles that bring pleasure to God, His and our heavenly Father. For me, its this passage of scripture that teaches us not only how to live according to the will of God, but how Jesus Himself, taught His disciples to go forth and teach others, making disciples so that they too could spread and share the all powerful Word of God.
I am a Christian Counselor; and as a Christian Counselor, I believe that hiding our beliefs and trying to do value-free counseling is both unwise and impossible to do; therefore, let me share some of my values and beliefs related to counseling. Like most counselors, I recognize that personalproblems can come about because of our physiological, social-environmental influences and psychological pressures. I also believe that many problems can be spiritual in nature, resulting from either not understanding biblical truth or from sinful behavior.
Believing we are created in God's image and can only feel complete and fulfilled through a relationship with God, through His Son Jesus Christ; my concern is with the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of people. The main goal of Christian Counseling, like the goal of Christian living, is to enable the individual to move toward greater emotional and spiritual health by becoming more Christ-like in their mindset.
As a Christian Counselor, I am not limited to psychological techniques or to my own human effort and wisdom. I believe that God is the real authority in counseling and He gives us the resources to facilitate change. My goal not only involves praying about your difficulties andlooking to the authority of the Bible for guidance; but also encouraging you to look within self for clarity. In this way, I seek to encourage you to build a dependency on God. Then you can find forgiveness for the past, strength and comfort for the present, and hope for the future by trusting the Lord to meet needs daily and heal emotional wounds.
Our goal is to reflect the character of Jesus Christ and to love you as He does. While we will not force religion on you, we will urge you to develop a RELATIONSHIP with the only true Healer of body, soul and spirit, JESUS CHRIST.
Because we believe your needs are of the utmost importance; our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and guide you to the best resource there is in the industry.
